Author & Washington Times Writer Tom Mullen Talks To Sinclair

By
October 16, 2012

Saturday Oct 13, 2012 while covering Liberty Fest III NYC What’s Next For Liberty? event in Manhattan at the WIP-New York we had the opportunity to speak with Author & Washington Times Writer Tom Mullen. Mullen who writes regularly for the Washington Times says he has been involved in the Liberty movement for years before Liberty became cool in the recent elections.

Mullen attended and spoke at Liberty Fest III NYC on the Declaration of War powers. The Author of A Return to Common Sense: Reawakening Liberty in the Inhabitants of America is no stranger to the Liberty movement of the Libertarian principles and has himself written about the Liberty movement being more than a cult of personality.

Sinclair News has been covering the Liberty movement since April of this year and we have come to see that despite the media and the establishment parties efforts to dismiss and marginalize the Liberty Movement as a bunch of drug smoking, code pink like Ron Paul groupies nothing could be further from the truth. In fact most of those we have spoken with in the past 6 months could be the very same individuals the Tea Party promotes as being patriots. Liberty and liberty minded voters are not going away nor will they sit silently on the sidelines nor should they. It is somewhat ironic to us that when we pledge allegiance to the flag we do so with these words “…and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for ALL.”

Mullen gives his opinions of the Liberty movement and where if needs to go from here.
