For the past four years we as a nation have sat back and watched as the big money media organizations have decided what the American people should be told. On December 20, 2011 a New Hampshire based newspaper published an exclusive interview conducted with Larry Sinclair over his allegations against Barack Obama. The New Hampshire Herald was told by Larry when they first notified him they wanted the interview they would receive harassing, threatening calls and emails if they published it. Larry had warned the Herald that their advertisers would be called and harassed and pushed to pull their advertising from the Herald.
It has come to our attention that Larry’s warnings to the New Hampshire Herald became a reality. The New Hampshire Herald advertisers have been
harassed and pushed to stop advertising in the paper. One advertiser withdrew their ads because they didn’t like the cover which happened to be the Larry interview. Correct us if we are wrong, but isn’t the purpose of advertising to reach new customers? When did advertising become subject to the advertiser dictating what the paper reported?
The New Hampshire Herald reported a story which the public had a right to know about. The Herald did not publish any opinions as to the truthfulness of the allegations nor did they tell their readers they had to believe every word Sinclair said. The New Hampshire Herald did what newspapers are supposed to do: report the news as it is and let the reader make up his/her own mind about it.
See the very clear Note from the Editor which preceeded the interview:
A Note From The Editor
…This story is very important and timely because a few weeks ago, a number of women made unsubstantiated harassment allegations against Herman Cain. The media ran with the stories even when it was increasingly becoming very evident that the allegations had no legs. The uproar caused some character assassination for Cain and ultimately halted his campaign for president.
Right now, the same media wants the public to believe that Newt Gingrich is not good material for the Presidency because of his past infidelities. If this argument is good for Cain and Newt, why isn’t the media holding President Obama to the same standard by demanding that he defends the allegations of drug deals and infidelity being levied against him by Larry Sinclair?
When Obama ran for president, Sinclair says the candidate’s surrogates successfully stifled discussion on the subject. It is our hope in printing this interview that it will spur on that discussion, if not at the national level, at least here in the Granite State. After all, the Granite State makes up an integral part of the electorate.
It is important that the Obama campaign comes out and tells the American people what is known or unknown about the allegations that Larry Sinclair has made against Obama for all intents and purposes.
We are not by any means attempting to suggest here that what Larry Sinclair has told us is the gospel truth. We’re not in a place to make that judgment. As you read the interview and make your own research, it is incumbent upon you to arrive at your own conclusions. That’s why we chose a Q&A format for the story.
Space constraints do not allow us to print the entire interview in a single edition. What you read here is less than half of the whole interview. We promise to bring you more of the story next edition.
In that part of the interview, we confronted Larry Sinclair with questions surrounding his own past life, one littered in criminalities. This is the main charge the media has trumped up to discredit his testimony.

So we ask, are there any companies/businesses out there who believe in the freedom of the press; who believe that the job of the press is to be objective and free of bias; that want the press to do the job they are supposed to do which is report the facts and let the reader decide what they believe or don’t believe? Are there any businesses out there who would like to reach new customers and offer their services and/or products to the people of New Hampshire? If so please contact the New Hampshire Herald’s sales office and take out an ad in their paper. sales@newhampshireherald.com
We had already begun to pick up internet claims of new efforts to pressure New Hampshire Herald advertisers to pull their ads if the paper went to press with the second part of their interview. We know this is the very practice of a group of bloggers associated with Politico’s Ben Smith and The Slates David Weigels (these bloggers will be identified in part II of Why Larry Sinclair story matters in 2012). One of these individuals had even posted the Herald was late in putting out the next edition but this woman doesn’t realize the next edition is not until Jan 5, 2012.
Are we as a nation going to sit back and allow people to threaten; harass; pressure anyone who does not report what they are told; or who reports news that they do not want reported? It is time that the American people stand up and support newspapers that do what they were started to do: report the news, openly, objectively and without taking a side.
So if you believe in the true freedom of the press and the First Amendment, please if you have a business or a product to sell, please contact the New Hampshire Herald and advertise with them so they can continue to report the news as the news was meant to be reported. Do not let Washington DC attorneys, Daily Kos bloggers, Democratic Underground internet thugs; or politicians get away with attacking honest, objective newspapers.
We ask those New Hampshire Herald advertisers who have been asked to pull their advertising not to be pressured by people who don’t even live in their business area. Why would any of you pull your advertising from a publication that brings you results because people in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, DC call you and tell you to? For the advertisers who have already given in to the pressure from outsiders we ask: did the New Hampshire Herald bring you results for your advertising dollars?
So again, any business who has a service or product to offer, please support the New Hampshire Herald by advertising with them. If for no other reason than to support the open, objective reporting of the news in a time where so much of the nation’s news media is biased. The New Hampshire Herald reaches out to 120,000 readers in almost all of Southern NH.

Peace All !
Larry so glad you are keeping up on this story about Obama.
If we all just blog even once a day about your story it can go a long way. Post just a few lines about Larry’s story each day. The Truth will win.
The job is done- the genie is out of the bottle, Barry Soetoro will have to make a statement
"I absolutely, positively did not have sexual relations with that man!"
sounds awful familiar…..
A boycott of advertiser who pulled their ads seems to be in order. Why support a company that does not believe in "Freedom of the Press"!
No, maybe a Buycott of those advertisers who do not allow these groups to scare them would be better. Boycotts are what the people who are trying to shut the paper up threaten their advertisers with.
I have read Larry's book and believe his testimony about Mr. O. He has been through a living hell since. So, listen up people who think Mr. O. is a good man. He is not, and what he has done to this country will soon be felt by all of us. Ask yourself why would the government thugs try to do so much harm to this one man if the story was false.
Bless you for doing the job that no one else has the courage to do. Obama has a past that needs close scrutiny andhas been obscured far too long.
B-Rock is a sodomite not a saviour.
Dear Editor:
I applaud your bravado to stand up to the thugs that hate liberty and the truth. Illumination is indeed your greatest weapon for tyranny withers exceedingly fast when exposed to the light.
I don’t know if Mr. Sinclair is telling the truth, part of the truth or if he is telling the truth at all, but one thing is clear Sinclair’s message must be placed before the public eye of scrutiny.
Though I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico I am willing to place an add in the NH Herald just for shits and grins.
May God bless your courage and endeavor to illuminate the people. When I was attending the University of New Hampshire, I remember the New Hampshire Herald well. The Herald was a clean breath of fresh air compared to the Cincinnati Enguire rag I was use to reading.
Keep up the fight Mr. Editor, besides what else can you do? “Marines retreat!” “No retreat!!!” Marines don’t retreat. Hoorah! They don’t quit.
“The Truth Goes On With Or Without Man.” You know who said that? I did…
Good day. Clayton Jones (gunslinger)
Keep up the great work, and when my new business gets under-way I will definitely consider your newspaper for my business. Freedom of speech and unbiased news-reporting is essential to preserve freedom. Those cowardly business's who pull advertising by cow towing to big brother or special interest groups are either criminals or cowards and we need neither.
Happy New Year to LS.org. We need to ask the advertisers who called them to pull their ads.
Start walking the cat backwards and the trail most likely leads to the same place. Accumulate the facts of who called the advertisers and which ones cancelled their ad with the Herald and you'll discover a common denominator, which is, barry soetero fraud preservation team.
January is going to be an awful revealing month of completed investigations. Not everyone posts their intentions and cooperative research online. In methodical, patient steps, confirmed and re-confirmed facts coming out very soon will expose the liar-in-chief. LS also needs to continue his diligence of truth telling about '99 cocaine/gay encounter with then Sen. barry soetero.
