It has come to our attention that the highly political far-left Southern Poverty Law Center recently published an article on its “Hate-Watch” blog making claims about Larry Sinclair and his book that simply are not true. We wanted to bring attention to this in advance of our Why Larry Sinclair Story Matters in 2012 article (which will be published tomorrow) so people can see just how these pro Obama groups label people without checking any of their facts first.
Despite the fact that over the last three plus years Politico’s Ben Smith has been shown to have out right lied in his June 18, 2008 article, Arthur Goldwag of Southern Poverty Law Center still links to the article in The Down-Low President? Not only did Mr. Goldwag link to the fabricated Politico.com hit piece, he also linked to an article written by David Weigel at Reason.com. Mr. Weigel’s article was in 2008 and is in 2011 comical considering his inability to report honestly. Weigel is and has been associated with a group of pro Obama anti-Sinclair bloggers who have attacked individuals, businesses, peoples employers, family members, online and by phone. This same group that Southern Poverty Law Center chooses to use as sources have engaged in photo-shopping of photos and documents in mounting Internet attacks on people simply for believing Larry Sinclair’s story.
While Limbaugh left the question hanging, satisfied with mere innuendo, others have been less circumspect. Larry Sinclair wrote a book called Barack Obama and Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies, and Murder? in which he claims to have done cocaine with Obama on two occasions in 1999 and performed oral sex on him. He also accuses Obama of conspiring with his former minister, Jeremiah Wright, to murder several gay members of the Trinity United Church of Christ (Ben Smith of Politico detailed Sinclair’s extensive criminal background back in 2008, when Sinclair held a press conference at the National Press Club – after which he was promptly arrested on an outstanding warrant).
The fact that David Weigel continues to this day to be associated with individuals who have photo-shopped photos of people and published them on the Internet in KKK attire; have published photos which were obtained through the criminal act of hacking and publishing them online as a sex ad with the persons name, address and phone number makes SPLC.org a hypocrite at the very least.
Mr. Goldwag clearly has not read Larry’s book, otherwise he would not have published such a blatant lie as “He also accuses Obama of conspiring with his former minister, Jeremiah Wright, to murder several gay members of the Trinity United Church of Christ.” Why on earth the SPLC would choose to publish an article with links to other articles written by someone who is part of a group that engages in the very behaviors SPLC.org claims to fight against?
For the Southern Poverty Law Center to brand Larry Sinclair a racist, bigot or anything else is without any merit and is completely untrue. Perhaps Larry should contact the Sheriff who has brought Slander & Libel claims against the SPLC. Below is a comment that Larry posted in response to Mr. Goldwag’s piece

Perhaps you sir should have checked your facts and maybe even read my book before you decided to publish your own fabricated fantasy claims:
1. No where in my book nor anywhere do I make any such accusations: “He also accuses Obama of conspiring with his former minister, Jeremiah Wright, to murder several gay members of the Trinity United Church of Christ .”
2. Perhaps you should have noted Ben Smiths Politico blog was deliberately fabricated as has been demonstrated very well in the last 4 years.
3. David Weigel whom you quote from Reason.com has aligned himself with people who photo peoples photos and post them wearing KKK hoods or Hitler attire the very things the SPLC is supposed to be against.
4. I was not arrested after the Press Conference on an “outstanding warrant” as you re-posted here. Perhaps you should have looked a little deeper into the facts before you repeated untruths and half truths. Per the DC Court records themselves I was arrested on a charge the US Attorney didn’t bother to file until the day after I was taken into custody. Either way the charges were all dismissed. Maybe you should have mentioned that part as well.
The last paragraph of Goldwags article makes clear what the SPLC is trying to do, and it has nothing whatsoever to do with the truth.
But Obama is unique in that he has been the object of virtually every kind of bigotry there is. For haters, anyway, he offers something for everyone: his race, his national origin, his father’s and stepfather’s Islamic beliefs, his supposedly left-wing politics, even his sexuality. And the election season is only starting.
Its clear the pro-Obama race baiting groups like the SPLC are preparing to play the “Oh poor Obama is a victim” game. Not this time.
NOTE: In Why Larry Sinclair story matters in 2012 we will be reminding readers of how the Media went out of its way not to ask Obama questions in 2008 and remind you of some of the people who have spent four years of their lives continually posting completely false information in their efforts to attack Sinclair.
As if the SPLC actually matters to anyone besides the criminal Federal Government. Yeah, it is a badge of honor to be "listed" by those freaks. Screw the SPLC.
Larry, having heard many of your interviews,and read many articles about you over the past couple of years. I can only say, you are not what the SPLC claims, but being listed as a "bigot and hater" by the SPLC is a "badge of honor" in this day and age. Keep up the good fight. .
Those bothersome facts just keep getting in the way for barry soetero and his Slapinsky machine. The truth of your experience and the consistent adherence to the facts will matter.
Shared the book with others and the momentum is escalating. Most obvious to all is the non-vetting mode of everything and anything regarding barry's past. Most folks don't know the fraud, deceit, and coverup by Jarrett, Gibbs, Alxelrod and Bauer that is forming a mosaic on the criminal bulletin board. 2012 is going to be very revealing. The corruption is an epidemic of high level toxicity with crimes against "we the people".
And we're getting this accusation from the terrorist SPLC?!
